St. Cecilia’s Public School

Fusion of Fun and Education - TRIP TO AGRA

On 28th October 2013, St. Cecilia’s Public School organized a same day educationalexcursion trip to AGRA. More than 150 students of Classes IX and X along with teachers as well as the Senior wing Co-ordinator Ms. Pooja S Mathur visited the historical town of Agra. The group received a special good bye wave from Madam Principal Mrs. R Bhumra who specially made an early morning visit to the school to wish all students on their journey. The children enjoyed their journey till Agra via AC buses singing and chatting all way. On reaching Agra the children enjoyed the delicious lunch buffet at Pushp Villa in Agra. The children enjoyed their same day excursion at the city of Mughals. They were amazed and spellbound to see the architectural beauty of the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. They were not only being an onlooker but they explored the historical facts behind each and every historical monument they visited. The students exhibited involvement at every stage of the excursion being the explorers themselves. As per the excursion all the students were taken to  Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The visit not only left the children joyful but enriched with their culture. It seemed as the students had the Mughal era re-visited. All the children were yearning for more as they had hands on experience of Learning by Doing, Reading and Exploring. On returning back to Delhi the group of students were an enlightened lot, looking forward to their next Adventure!!
