Curriculum and Assessment for Pre Primary
At our Pre-Primary Wing, the curriculum is thoughtfully designed to nurture young learners through a child-centric and experiential approach, ensuring a smooth transition into formal learning in the primary years. Recognising the individuality of every child, the programme encourages learning at a pace best suited to their abilities, interests, and developmental readiness.
A well-balanced curriculum encompassing English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Art & Craft, Music & Dance, and Yoga fosters intellectual, creative, emotional, and physical growth. Learning is imparted through engaging, activity-based experiences, enabling children to explore, discover, and internalise concepts in a joyful and meaningful manner.
Moral values and life skills are seamlessly integrated into everyday learning, cultivating empathy, discipline, confidence, and positive social behaviour. To make classroom experiences stimulating and effective, technology-enabled learning through smart boards and carefully curated audio-visual modules enriches conceptual understanding and enhances classroom engagement. Special emphasis is also laid on nurturing communication skills, conversational fluency, and spoken English, empowering children to express themselves with confidence and clarity.
Assessment & Evaluation
Assessment in the Pre-Primary section follows a continuous observation-based approach, focusing on the holistic development of every child. Through play-based and experiential methodologies, learners are observed at regular intervals across cognitive, linguistic, physical, social, and emotional domains.
The process aims to thoughtfully monitor each child’s developmental journey, strengths, progress, and emerging skills. Periodic progress reports are shared with parents to ensure meaningful collaboration in supporting the child’s growth and learning milestones.
