Badge Ceremony 2017
Cecilians get ready to design their future as leaders
On the auspicious 25th July 2017, the proud moment was experienced by deserving Cecilians as they witnessed the Badge ceremony in the campus of their alma mater St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri. In the embellishing ceremony, Madam Principal Mrs. R. Bhumra and Madam Vice Principal Mrs. Inderpreet Kaur blessed and graced the proceedings with their benign presence. In the presence of the Co-ordinators and club In-charges, the badges were conferred to the newly selected club members by the honourable Madam Principal and Vice Principal Ma’am. The new members of Eco club, Editorial club, Geekoz-IT club, Scientia club and Quiz club were officially acclaimed on the day for the academic session 2017-18.
The programme started with the holy prayer light of love, a motivational song and a dance drama depicting the dire need to save environment. The badging of students was followed by the oath ceremony. The Presidents of each club expressed their gratitude and shared their noble ideas about the coming year’s activities and events.
Madam Principal blessed and congratulated all badge holders. She said that cecilian family since it’s inception has imported quality education to give an enviable growth to seekers of learning, to groom them as world class leaders, competent to match the expanding expectations of the outside world.
The Day witnessed a ceremonial close as the badge holders winged their aspirations into action. All present expressed heartful thankfulness towards Madam Principal and Madam Vice Principal for their boundless faith in entrusting confidence in the capabilities of young cecilians. The badge holders later enjoyed light refreshments to celebrate their accomplishments.
