Badge Ceremony 2016-17

On 29th July 2016, St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri witnessed Badge Ceremony of all members of Educative cum Recreational clubs for the session 2016-17. Leadership and learning are indispensible to each other was emphasized through the medium of the Badge Ceremony to all students present representing ECO, EDITORIAL, IT-GEEKOZ, SCIENCIA and QUIZ Club. The event started with a formal welcome to Madam Principal Mrs. R. Bhumra, Madam Vice-Principal, Co-ordinators and teacher in charges. Cultural extravaganza of motivational songs, inspirational instrumental music played by students on violin, Tabla and guitar gave way to the Badge Ceremony.
Madam Principal and Madam Vice Principal graced all position holders with badges. Trust and confidence was reposed in the students as leadership is a pretent combination of strategy and character. The oath ceremony was undertaken under the lead of Ms. Mamta Marwah. All the club Presidents spoke about the ideology of their clubs, planned functioning of clubs for the session as well as expressed their thanks to the school authorities.
Madam Principal in her speech addressed all present with her words of wisdom she congratulated the Badge holders and elaborated how education is the mother of leadership. The ceremony saw its close with the tradition of national anthem joined by all present.
