Orientation Programme
Class – I
Session 2018-19
As the new session began for the year 2018-19, an orientation programme for the parents admitted to class I was organized on March 31, 2018. As customary the event was to welcome and familiarize parents with the ethos of the school. These kind of programmes create a bonding between the school and the parents to enable a harmonious learning process. The primary wing co-ordinator Ms. Meena spoke about the various academic, co-curricular activities being held in the school. She informed about the infrastructural facilities, safety and security measures being tasken by the school for the well being of the students. She spoke and explained about the CELA programme which was introduced by the school to enhance the English communicative skills.
The school counselor Ms. Neha intimated the parents about the various safety measures of children, their behavior changes, the good and bad touch, physical and emotional changes and how the parents can help them. She laid stress on the point that more qualitative time should be spent by the parents with their child.
Overall it was an informative and interactive session. Parents talked about their doubts. It was a success.
