Class XII 2016-17 students accorded Farewell By Class XI Cecilians
“It’s always harder to be left behind than to be the one to go”
Cecilians bid goodbye to another pertinacious batch of class XII 2016-17 on 28th January, 2017 as the farewell ceremony brought with it innumerable memories. The farewell ceremony for class XII was organised in the school ground from 10 am-1.00pm. The day started with the ‘Tilak Ceremony’ followed by the floral welcome of esteemed guests – Educationist Mr. H K Pandey, Chairman Prof Sewa Singh Sir, Director Saroop Sir and Madam Vice-Principal. Our respected Vice-Principal Madam addressed the students and showered her blessings and best wishes on them. Chairman Sir in his speech to the students inspired them to be ready to embark the journey of life and become successful. His words of wisdom were gathered as precious pearls by the students. Mr. H K Pandey also motivated the students in his speech to become better human beings. He also gave them some valuable tips to score meritorious result in the upcoming CBSE Examinations.
The students of outgoing Class XII were called on stage for class photographs with the esteemed guests. Each Class XII student was given a memento as they shared space at stage for the class photograph.
Weeks of practice, hard work in art, music, drama and dance prepared by Class XI students was much appreciated as the special show bidding adieu to the students of Class 12 was enjoyed by all present. Hosted by Nishant and Isha, the cultural programme began with a prayer, songs and elaborate dance performances choreographed by various sections of Class XI which received much appreciation from guest students of Class XII as well as the teachers. The students and staff relished the lunch buffet as the day drew to an end.
The praiseworthy effort of Class XI students made for a memorable day. All present wished the outgoing Class XII students good luck for their future success saga.
