Gandhism arrives at Cecilian Campus
The Campus of St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri, on the onset of October reverberated with patriotic songs, slogans and recitals as Cecilians marched through the corridors remembering the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi paying tribute to the Mahatma on his birth anniversary. The two forgotten golden mantras of truth and non violence were brought to life in enactments, songs, recitals and elocution events conducted in the school.
Young minds envisioned a developed India by treading on the path of truth and non violence. Hey Ram Chant was sung in the special stage assembly to encourage godliness and spirituality amongst the pupils. The day was full of gaiety and galore. Dance performances by primary wing students were a delightful watch. Madam Principal Mrs. R. Bhumra addressed the student on the occasion telling them to learn lessons of discipline, non violence, persistence and perseverance from the vision and life work of Gandhiji.
Years after independence, Gandhiji still rules the hearts of Indian masses in totality.
