`Real heroes don’t need a particular incident to be remembered. They are remembered on every milestone in their lives by people following in their footprints’. Father of the nation – Mahatma Gandhi glows through the annals of history with the gratitude that people hold for him.
The students of Classes IX and X of St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikas Puri paid a visit to the Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum on 12th April 2012 realising the real power of Satya, Ahimsa and Satya Graha. The students were spellbound to see how the museum showcased the life of Gandhiji, his emphasis on truth and non violence. The students got glimpses of his life-right from his birth to his death and the various historical events that came by in to his life and also his contribution to the country in attaining independence. The students were shown various newspaper clippings, the Dandi march, Salt Satyagraha and even a courtroom hearing from Richard Attenborough’s film in the museum through the help of multi media.
The students were fascinated by the valuable relics kept in the museum. They were all amazed by the phenomenal technology used for the upliftment of the museum. A quiet and calm place, the museum has been designed in a way that highlights various aspects of the life of the Mahatma, his ideas, principles and values.
