Italian Delegation visits Cecilian Campus
– strengthening Indo-Italian education
The Humanitis University, Milan-Italy Delegation and Indian Representatives from Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry received a warm welcome on 30th November 2018 at the campus of St. Cecilia’s Public school as the school hosted the event of international opportunities of education in Milan-Italy.
The dignitaries Muara Svera Salvatore and Muna Qatanami from Humanities were welcomed with floral welcome by Madam Manager Mrs. R Bhumra, Director Sir Saroop Singh and Madam Principal Mrs. Inderpreet. The event witnessed the presence of Class XII and XI Biology students aspiring to make a career in the field of Medicine and Surgery. The delegates from Humanitis University brought home the possibility to choose for Milan-Italy international experience for the Indian students for careers in Medicine and Surgery as well as Specialities, Ph.D and Professional Masters.
On this particular trip, the Humanitis University delegation focused on expanding Italian educational opportunity to Indian students aspiring for career in medicine - leading a pathway for international learning as professionals in the field of Medical Sciences and Research. They informed the students about the Humanitis Campus, the Italian Education System, Admission requirements, Admission process. The cultural and social similarities of India and Italy were also brought to light at the event.
The students and teachers agreed that this interaction showcased a great opportunity for international collaboration and also that there were many similar areas of synergy among our Indian education system and Italian philosophy of education.
Members of the delegation enjoyed meeting with the Biology students of Classes XII and XI. Madam Principal wholeheartedly thanked the dignitaries for visiting the school to share possibilities of a career in international medicine and research.
