St.Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri witnessed the 2nd Installation Ceremony Interact Club (Rotary Club) on the bright morning of 04th August 2014 in the school premises. Eminent guests from Rotary Club as well as sponsor Club Rotary of Delhi, South West came for the pining ceremony. Amongst the dignitaries present President Rotarian Avneesh Bajaj, Distt. Director Youth Services Rotarian Praveen Kundru, School Director Mr.Saroop Singh, Madam Principal Mrs. R.Bhumra and Madam Vice Principal Mrs.Inderpreet Kaur. The eminent guests were given a floral welcome by the school management. Director Saroop Sir, Madam Principal Mrs.Bhumra and vice Principal Madam presented bouquet of flowers to all guests. Madam Principal welcomed the guests formally. In her address she highlighted the achievements of the interact Club since its installation in December 2013. The school music choir sung a hymn “Make me a channel of your peace’ and also presented a melodious song ‘Chand Suraj- Joy of sunshine’. Scottish dance was also presented by the students. Rotarians Rashmi Bansal, Praveen Kandru, Ajeet Jalan and Avneesh Bajaj addressed the gathering followed by the pining of newly elected core team of Interact Club 2014-15. After the Oath Ceremony past President (Student) Prerna Narang ZSpoke about the projects taken in her tenure followed by the present President (Student) Danish Khan’s speech assuring to do the good work expected from him. The Rotarians presented special appreciation award and momento to Madam Principal. The ceremony came to close with Vote of Thanks by Teacher Incharge of the School Interact Club Mrs. Mukta Kakra. The ceremony was solemnized in the end with the national anthem.
