Interact Club Rally – Fight Against Drug Abuse
On 29 August 2014, Interact Club student members of St. Cecilia’s Public School organized a rally to spread awareness about ‘Fight againsat Drug abuse’. Almost 100 students from classes IX to XII participated in the rally. They demonstrated their cause with the help of banners, slogans in the neighbor-hood areas within 2 Kms of the school vicinity. The students were accompanied by the teachers on duty. They also visited near-by slums to educate the residents about the ill effects of drugs. They enacted a Nukkad natak to highlight the dire consequences of drug addiction. It was a learning experience for the students as well as teachers who accompanied them. Madam Principal applauded the genuine heartfelt concern of the participating students. She congratulated all the participants for volunteering themselves for such a noble cause.
