Investiture Ceremony 2016-17

“Leadership is synonymous to knowledge, wisdom, Character and courage”

   

   

In a ceremonious event on 6th August 2016, the profound campus of St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikaspuri witnessed the felicitation of its student council on the 10th Investiture Ceremony. The ceremony was graced by the benign presence of school chairman Prof. Sewa Singh, Director Mr. Saroop Singh, Madam Principal Mrs. R. Bhumra and the proud parents of 21 student representatives of student council 2016-17. The ceremony started with a formal welcome of the esteemed guests furthered by cultural presentation of a prayer song, an inspiring melody, instrumental musical performance by students and an energetic dance portraying the effects of mankind activities on mother nature.

After the cultural presentation, the student council marched in for its badging. Chairman Sir, Director Sir, Madam Principal and Vice Principal Madam felicitated the council members with badges and sashes. Co-Ordinators of Senior, Middle and Primary wing also joined in the badging of the students. Oath bestowed on the members of the students council putting the responsibilities on their young soldiers.

In this address, Chairman Sir congratulated the parents and members of the student council motivating them to tread the path of duty with knowledge, wisdom, character and courage. Madam Principal in her speech reposed her trust and confidence in the newly formed student council encouraging them to fulfill the lofty aspirations. The ceremony saw its close with ceremonial vote of thanks by convenor Ms. Mukta Kalra followed by national anthem.

An atmosphere of gaiety and pride prevailed as parents, students and teachers shared high tea with the esteemed guests. Floral gratitude in the form of beautiful rose buds were presented to all parents while grandparents were presented bouquets of flowers. The day observed duty bestowed with pride on student council 2016-17.
