Kargil Vijay Diwas 2019
“Aao desh a sammaan kare Shahido ki shahadat yaad kre, Jo kurban ho Gaye mere desh par Unhe sar jhuka Kar salaam kare”
On the auspicious occasion of 20th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, St. Cecilia’s Public School, organized a special assembly on 30th July, 2019 where in students recited inspiring poems and a Yoga dance was presented on the theme of Kargil song a tribute to Indian soldiers. An inter-class Essay writing competition was organized in classes VI-VIII the topic was 20 years of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The students participated enthusiastically. In Class X an inter class painting competition was organized for the students who used their imagination to pay their tribute and homage to Indian Army. It was a learning experience as students learnt to value the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers.
