Career as a proud mariner in Merchant Navy
St. Cecilia’s Public School , Vikaspuri on 7th May 2018 organised a Career workshop on opportunities in Merchant Navy for students of Classes XI and XII. The worthy speaker Mr. S.P.S Oberoi, Marine chief Engineer from Anglo-Eastern ship Management Ltd. Hong kong made the students aware about joining Merchant Navy and sailing across the globe. He informed the students regarding the selection process, appearing for the online entrance test, undergoing panel interview for selection, completing medicals to become a sponsored candidate and qualifying IMU CET to join DNS course.
The speaker motivated the students to griddle up their aspirations and skills for a wonderful career as a mariner. In the interactive session with sir, both girls and boys were enthusiastic to learn about the life of a sailor. Madam Principal thanked Mr. SPS Oberoi for sharing his wisdom with the students. Madam also encouraged students to achieve success in their dream careers.
