Orientation Programme for class IX
At the onset of new academic session 2018-19, an orientation Programme for class IX parents was conducted on 7.4.18 in two slots for one to one interaction and fruitful communication. Senior Co-ordinator Ms. Pooja spoke about infrastructural facilities, guidelines of academic assessment that included both scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas, safety and security measures, rules and regulations, promotion policy and well being of the students.
The session also included areas of growth and wellness wherein school counselor Ms. Neha made parents aware about various areas of concern in growing children. Physical and emotional changes Behavioral patterns, exam anxiety, regulated use of technology and internet were talked about with the parents.
The parents also had a beneficial interaction with the teachers where in many of their concerns were dealt with regarding time management and skills to study better for their children.
Overall the orientation programme met its objective of making the parents aware about class IX academic parameters along with adolescent concerns that lead to holistic development of the child. The parents were thankful to school authorities for nurturance of their children.
