Surpassing Challenges in Education Today
St. Cecilia’s Public School, Vikas Puri organized a three days Orientation Programme on separate days for the parents of the newly admitted Class I students, parents of class VI as well as class IX students with the objective of sensitizing them about the role that they can play in their child’s education.The Orientation Programme organized separately for primary, secondary and higher levels helped the parents understand the reality of situation for making the teaching-learning methods substantially effective in accordance with CCE.
Principal Mrs. R. Bhumra in her address emphasized the need for overall development of children’s personality and advised the parents attending the Orientation programme to prepare the children for innovative creative endeavours. The Co-ordinator for primary wing Mrs. Meena Rawat, middle wing Mrs. Arti Parab and senior wing Mrs. Renuka Uppal respectively spoke about Continuous Comprehensive Education.
The Orientation workshops were a successful bridge between the parents and the teachers for holistic development of the child.
