With great enthusiasm and zeal, St. Cecilia's Public School's Pre-Primary Wing (Prep C) presented a delightful enactment of ‘The Lion and the Mice’ on 20.09.2025, centered around the theme of ‘Kindness and Compassion’. This timeless fable was brought to life to instill values of empathy and friendship among young minds. The program commenced with the welcome of the esteemed dignitaries- Director Sir, Madam Principal and Academic Advisor ma’am, who were greeted with saplings by the students, sharing the theme of true friendship.

The little ones breathed life in the timeless tale of ‘The Lion and the Mice’ through their energetic performances, seamlessly blending dance and drama. With colorful costumes and props the students tip-toed to the tone of melody, showcasing their creativity and talent. The story enactment was done simultaneously with comparative narration, to keep the audience engaged. The aerobics and the energetic performances showcased the students' boundless energy. The students’ confidence was clearly highlighted in their dialogue delivery on the stage, conveying the moral of kindness. The story taught the importance of helping others, leaving a lasting impact on young Cecilians.

The grand finale, a heartwarming blend of all performances, depicted the lion and the mice coming together, symbolizing the power of friendship and gratitude. This powerful visual representation reinforced the story's moral-‘Kindness is never wasted’, making a profound impression on the audience. Parents appreciated the students' energy and effort, making it a proud moment for the school. The event concluded on a joyous note, with everyone taking back memories of the delightful performance.
