Earth Day Celebration Week

Our earth is the only planet in our solar system with an incredible biodiversity. Learning about and protecting this biodiversity is what Earth Day is all about. Henceforth this day was celebrated by the primary wing with great zeal and enthusiasm for a complete week. A special assembly was conducted by the students where the message “ Save the Earth, it’s the only one we have got” was beautifully conveyed. The complete week from April 22nd till April 29th was captivating as many activities were held.

·        Our little starlings of class I made amazing green lands.

·        The budding Cecilians of classes II, III, IV Z& V showed their creativity in making attractive posters.

.         A rally was oragnised by the paryavaran club with aim to create awareness among the students on issue like- say no to plastic bags, save                       electricity, judicious use of resources to preserve mother earth.

·        Germination- the soul of life activity was full of fun as each child enjoyed planting a seed.

·        Water- the essence of life activity was thoroughly exciting when students of class II went watering the plants in the school premises.

·        Expressions- the students of classes IV & V expressed their feelings about saving the earth for future.

·        Magazine Holder Activity – Students of class IV enjoyed making their magazine holders out of newspaper.

·        Hot air Balloon Activity – the students of class V performed the activity with full zeal and excitement.
