Teachers Day Celebrations 2022

To commemorate the birth of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan- a philosopher and a great teacher, 5th September every year is celebrated as Teacher’s Day for hiscontribution towards Indian education is undeniable.

The much awaited Teachers’ Daywas organized with incredible gusto and zeal by the students of St Cecilia’s Public School as the school campus witnessed Class XII students dressed up smartly in vibrant hues taking up the responsibilities as student-teachers to pay tribute to their teachers. A special assembly was conducted by Class XII student teachers for classes I to XI to commence the celebrations of the day.

Teachers play a major role in making their students responsible citizens of tomorrow and good human beings. Hence to express their gratitude, a wide range of activities were organized on this occasion wherein student –teachers of Class XII managed the daily time table for classes I to XI, Front office as well as administrative duties effectively under the guidance of the teachers. As Class XII took over the duties of the teachers to fit in their shoes, the teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm of the students for making such a dedicated effort to recognize the contributions of their teachers.

To commemorate the day, the school was called off at half day, following which the staff members gathered to celebrate the noteworthy day to accolade each other on Teachers Day. Teacher Choir presented soulful prayer celebrating the worthiness of ‘Guru’ and song of joy and happiness highlighting the role of teachers. A power-point presentation was presented by IT Deptt to showcase the journey of Cecilian teachers. Teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude amongst the gathering to mark the day.

Revered Chairman Sir accolade the staff members with his words of wisdom handing out the motto – “Respect all; Enrich all” to establish a new world of future leaders with their teachings. Worthy Madam Manager and Madam Principal congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts of every teacher for their meticulous efforts put in every day to achieve new benchmarks in imparting quality education. Madam Principal appreciated the tireless labour and love of all the teachers to bring up students as knowledgeable and compassionate individuals. 

The staff got together for a sumptuous lunch that made the day the most memorable one for the teachers.

It was indeed a remarkable day for all the Cecilians with many unforgettable moments.
