The visit was organized exclusively for the students of classes XI and XII (Commerce Stream).  Eighty students accompanied by four teachers visited the plant.

The main objective behind organizing this visit was to provide students with a real-time exposure to industrial operations, production processes, packaging procedures and marketing strategies of a globally recognized FMCG brand. The experience was intended to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world commercial practices.

Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. is a renowned probiotic health drink manufacturer, a joint venture between ‘Yakult Honsha, Japan’ and ‘Danone, France’. Known for its scientific approach and stringent quality control, the Sonipat facility is one of the few in the world that offers guided educational tours.

  • Q&A Session:

The visit proved to be a rich learning experience for students. They could understand how commerce theories are implemented in real businesses. It provided them exposure to production and operational management in a high-tech manufacturing facility. It gave them useful insights into product lifecycle, packaging innovation, and market segmentation. Students could appreciate the role of technology, automation, and quality control in manufacturing. Real-life perspective on business ethics, sustainability and customer satisfaction was the major take away from the visit.

Students found the visit both educational and inspiring. Many expressed that witnessing the business operations first-hand made their academic concepts more sound and clear.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Madam Principal for providing the platform and constant encouragement to organise this insightful educational visit. We also express our sincere thanks to the management of ‘Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd.’ for their warm hospitality and detailed orientation.
