Alpha Tank – The Young Business Tycoons of Cecilia

The Commerce Club of St. Cecilia’s Public School successfully organized a competition - ‘Alpha Tank – The Young Business Tycoons of Cecilia’ on 30 July 2026. It is an entrepreneurial extravaganza inspired by the popular business reality show Shark Tank. The event aimed to foster innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking by providing students with an opportunity to present their business ideas before a distinguished panel of Judges (who acted as Investors).
Nine teams participated enthusiastically, presenting diverse and market-oriented business ideas with confidence and professionalism. The panel of judges and the audience were highly impressed by the originality, practicality, and quality of every pitches. Each team successfully convinced the investors of the merit of its idea, making the event a true reflection of entrepreneurial excellence.
The First Prize was awarded to team of Tejas Singh, Japmanjot Singh, and Aayush of Class XII D1 for 'Parky App', a smart parking solution for metropolitan cities. Thefirst prize was shared by team of Vanya Soni and Srishti Bakshi of Class XII D1 for 'Blush', a one-stop destination for party wear dresses, purses, footwear, and jewellery.
The Second Prize was won by team of Sanvi, Dashmeet Kaur, and Prisha of Class XII C for 'House of Joy', featuring aesthetically designed scented candles for relaxation and festive gifting. The second prize was shared by team of Jayant, Arnav, and Sarthak of Class XII D1 for 'Angelo Pure', an innovative water purification system addressing hard water problems.
The Third Prize was jointly awarded to team of Angel, Rupashi, and Shambhavi of Class XII D1 for 'Pure Bite and Delight', offering healthy frozen food options for students and professionals living away from home. The third prize was shared by team of Ananya and Hiral of Class XII D1 for 'Abhyas Tab', a device designed to provide a distraction-free learning environment.
Several other teams also impressed the judges with innovative ventures such as the ‘Enhanced Smart Seat Belt’, ‘Zephyra Perfumes’, ‘Anime App’, and many more. The event concluded on a highly inspiring note, celebrating innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
The Commerce Club expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the School Management for its unwavering support in promoting experiential learning and providing students with such meaningful opportunities.
