A Cultural Presentation – Vigyan Ki Udaan

The Cecilian campus celebrated with pride the essence of both creativity and innovation as they celebrated the success of great Indian Scientists alongwith the success of Cecilian scholars on the auspicious day of Annual Day Function 2024 : Vigyan Ki Udaan.
The atmosphere at St. Cecilia’s Public School was filled with an air of exuberance and celebration as the school witnessed the euphoric celebrations on the destined day of 20th December 2024.
The Annual Prize Distribution exhibited hearts filled with aspirations and the ambitions grit to march ahead to achieve excellence as Cecilian Scholars were felicitated. The Annual Day Function 2024 was presided by the Chief Guest Eminent Scientist Dr. Vandana Kalia at Department of Scientific and Industrial Research , Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, Special Guest Mr. H.K. Pandey, Mr. Bir Inder Singh Sir, Esteemed Chairman Sir Prof. Sewa Singh, Revered Madam Manager Mrs. R. Bhumra, Esteemed Director Sir Mr. Saroop Singh, Respected Madam Principal Inderpreet Bhumra, Esteemed Dignitaries, Management Members, Renowned Principals and proud parents.
The magnificent and stupendous day began with the welcome of dignitaries as they unfurled the ceremonious day by lighting the lamp to seek the blessings of Almighty. Cecilian Choir mesmerized the audience with their melodious procures. Cecilian Orchestra amazed the gathered audience with their coordinated symphony and received applause and appreciation for their musical presentation.
The spirit of elevation and progression was brought to life as Head Boy Mansimran Singh and Head Girl Bhavya Gupta presented the Annual Report showcasing the worthy Cecilian journey. Shiv Stuti- musical dance presentation and Robotics inspired dance set the tempo for the much awaited Prize Distribution Ceremony. The Cecilian prodigies received appreciation and accolade for their excellence in academics, co-curriculars, CBSE Class XII and X result, praiseworthy rankings in Entrance Exams such as JEE and NEET. 35 students in total also received the scholarships worth Rs. 24000/- each from School Management for their academic expertise in class X/XII annual result. Around 160 students and more were felicitated in the Prize Distribution Ceremony by the eminent dignitaries.
The gathered audience of parents of classes Nursery to XII were spellbound with the Cecilian excellence as the day led to the Cultural Presentation-Vigyan ki Udaan paying tribute to Indian Scientists for their noble contributions in the area of scientific discovery and innovation. The dramatic presentation highlighted the scientific temperament of young ignited minds and the zeal to pursue innovation in Science and Technology. The ethos of the theme was interwined with a musical sequence of dance and music. The theme enriched performances-Happy Dance, Lavani Folk Dance, Science Rap, Dance of South India, Yoga Rhythmic Performance, Chandrayan Dance, Grand Finale (a commit to our motherland)-left the audience wonderstruck. The thunderous applaud of the guests were overwhelming.
Madam Chief Guest in her ceremonious address praised the Cecilian fraternity for not only creating nation builders but also global leaders. She also motivated to be torch bearers of scientific temperament and beacons of progressive thinking. Madam Principal inspired all present with her vision as an educational leader. She resonated with the exhilarating Cecilian spirit of excellence and success in the same frame.
The destined day was a spectacular display of talent and fervor. The astounding visual treat enthralled every spectator. The Cecilian campus witnessed uproars of cheer and claps that gleeful guests blessed the Cecilian students with. Yet again, the school took pride in yet another glorious academic year noted in the golden pages of history.
