Badge Ceremony

The school campus resonated with pride, enthusiasm and a spirit of leadership as St. Cecilia’s Public School organised the Badge Ceremony on 12 May 2026 to formally induct the newly selected club members for the session.  The ceremony celebrated the values of responsibility, dedication and teamwork while recognising students who pledged to contribute meaningfully to the school community.

The programme commenced with the formal welcome of the revered Madam Principal, Academic Advisor Sir and Academic Advisor Ma’am (primary wing). The Coordinators also graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. Students, smartly dressed in their school uniforms, were seated with excitement and pride, ready to be honoured with their badges.

The dignitaries were accorded a warm sapling welcome by the student volunteers, symbolising gratitude and growth. The ceremony then moved ahead with a soulful prayer presented by the Cecilian Choir, setting a serene and auspicious tone for the event. Following the prayer, the audience witnessed a soothing yoga presentation in which students showcased remarkable flexibility, discipline and skill. The performance left everyone spellbound. Subsequently, a vibrant fusion dance performance celebrated the beauty of cultural diversity and highlighted the immense talent nurtured at St. Cecilia’s.

The most awaited segment of the programme — the Badge Ceremony — then began. Along with the existing eight clubs namely Commerce, Democracy, Eco, Editorial, Geekoz IT, Maths, Quiz and Scientia Clubs, two new clubs — Prahari Club and Wellness Club — were proudly introduced this year. The formation of these clubs further reinstates the school’s commitment towards the overall well-being and welfare of the students.

The newly formed club members were pinned with badges amidst loud applause and appreciation. Group photographs were clicked to preserve the priceless memories of the occasion. Thereafter, the club members solemnly took the oath to uphold the school motto and fulfil the objectives of their respective clubs with sincerity and dedication.

Adding a personal touch to the programme, the Club Presidents expressed their happiness and shared their vision and plans for their clubs for the ongoing session. In her inspiring address, Madam Principal motivated the student members to become responsible, disciplined and exemplary role models for the entire Cecilian fraternity through their conduct and commitment.

The students expressed heartfelt gratitude to Madam Principal for continuously providing them opportunities to grow and platforms to nurture their talents and leadership abilities.

The Badge Ceremony concluded successfully with a formal vote of thanks followed by the distribution of refreshments.
