Career Counselling Workshop by ICAI

On 6th July 2026, the Commerce Club of St. Cecilia's Public School, Vikaspuri, organized a Career Counselling Workshop in collaboration with the Committee on Career Counselling (CCC), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the students of Classes XI and XII (Commerce Stream). The workshop aimed to create awareness about the Chartered Accountancy profession and guide students in making informed career choices. A total of 164 students attended the session with great enthusiasm.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the resource person, CA Palki Lamba, an experienced Chartered Accountant and Professional Counsellor with ICAI. As a gesture of respect and appreciation, Principal Ma'am presented a sapling to the guest, symbolising growth, knowledge, prosperity, and environmental responsibility.

The session provided students with valuable insights into the Chartered Accountancy course, its eligibility criteria, examination structure, practical training, and the diverse career opportunities available in the fields of finance, auditing, taxation, consulting, and entrepreneurship. Through an engaging and interactive presentation, the speaker encouraged students to pursue their career aspirations with dedication, integrity, and a commitment to lifelong learning. The interactive question-and-answer session enabled students to clarify their doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the profession.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks to the resource person and the Committee on Career Counselling, ICAI, for conducting such an enlightening session. The Commerce Club In-charges and the students of Classes XI and XII (Commerce Stream) expressed their sincere gratitude to Principal Ma'am for her constant encouragement, visionary leadership, and unwavering support in providing valuable career guidance opportunities.

The workshop proved to be an enriching and inspiring experience, reaffirming the commitment of St. Cecilia's Public School and its Commerce Club towards empowering students with the knowledge and guidance required to make confident career decisions.
