Class XII Farewell

St. Cecilia’s Public School organised a warm and memorable farewell ceremony for Class XII students on 31 January 2026. The outgoing students of Class XII arrived dressed wonderfully in their best attires and were accorded a traditional tilak ceremony at the entry gate, marking an auspicious welcome. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as numerous photographs were clicked to capture these precious moments.

The formal programme commenced with the arrival of the esteemed dignitaries — the Worthy Chairman Sir, Honourable Madam Manager, Director Sir, Madam Principal, Academic Advisor Ma’am (Primary Wing) and the Coordinators. The dignitaries were graciously welcomed by the Student Council with saplings.

A sacred prayer followed by melodious songs presented by the Class XI choir mesmerised the audience. Madam Principal and the Senior Coordinator addressed the gathering, fondly recalling the journey of the Class XII students from the time they joined the school and highlighting the institution’s role in shaping their character and lives. They extended their heartfelt best wishes to the students for their upcoming Board Examinations and future endeavours.

The Head Boy and Head Girl also expressed their emotions on this special day, sharing heartfelt memories and gratitude. They sincerely thanked Madam Principal and the teachers for imparting not only academic knowledge but also invaluable life lessons.

As a token of remembrance, mementoes were presented to Class XII students, followed by class photographs on the stage. The cultural programme proved to be the highlight of the farewell. Dressed in cheerful colours, the students of Class XI enthralled everyone with energetic performances on Bollywood numbers and lively Bhangra. A short skit depicting school life took the outgoing batch down memory lane and evoked nostalgia and smiles.

Thereafter, Class XII students proceeded for lunch and relished a delightful spread that included Chinese delicacies such as noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, pasta and honey chilli potatoes, along with chole bhature and gulab jamun. This was followed by lunch for the Class XI students and teachers.

The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Madam Principal for such a memorable farewell ceremony. The day concluded on a joyful and emotional note, leaving everyone with cherished memories to treasure forever.
