Interact Club Installation Ceremony 2024-25
The student Interact club of our prestigious school is a noble platform for young Cecilians to love leadership skills while discovering the power of ‘service before self’, ‘Community commitment’, ‘Empathetic actions’ and much more in initiatives of community health and well being, social service and environmental awareness.
Elevating the spirit of service and contribution to community, the Installation ceremony of the Interact club was conducted on 31st July 2024 with Zealous enthusiasm. The occasion was graced by Revered Director Sir, the distinguished members of the Rotary Club of Delhi southwest. Respected Madam Principal, school coordinators of senior, Middle, Primary wing and Academic Supervisor Primary wing. The esteemed guests and Rotarian dignitaries were formally welcomed by presentation of planters syncing in with the monsoon season. The day was unfurled by singing of National Anthem; glorifying the motherland and its valor.
A classical presentation of seeking divine blessings from the ‘Devi’ was presented meticulously by the trained dancers. The musical jugalbandi of retro guitar, harmonium and tabla was a melodious feast for the soul. Rajasthani folk mash up won not only the applause but the hearts of the audience. The amalgamation of African beats and Brazilian footwork daw light in the energetic performance of cecilian troupe. The cultural opening ceremony left the auditorium reverberating with the sound of claps.
The proud and gleeful Interact Club marched in with confidence as President Mani Bajaj Madam announced ‘order’. The esteemed guests and dignitaries pinned the current year Interactors and the teacher Incharges. Past President Amaira Singh in her speech highlighted the accomplishments of Interact Club in the year 2023-24 and handed over the charge to President 2024-25 Sherel Rajput who pledged to carry the beacon as the path bearer. The pinned interactors took the official oath of duty and shared space with the dignitaries in the group photographes. The audience was blessed by Rotarians-President Mani Bajaj, Rtn Sandeep Mandal and Rtn J P Singh, President 2025 who inspired the students to tread the path of humanity, universal brotherhood, compassion and kindness, Madam Principal congratulated the newly inducted Interact Club members and motivated them to engage themselves in programmes and activities with a futuristic vision of being the globally aware denizens of the new world.
The ceremony witnessed its close with the resonance that the quality of one’s life is determined by the quality of one’s contributions as when one works towards betterment of others, success is achieved automatically.
