St. Cecilia’s Public School

Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club

6 August 2025

St. Cecilia’s Public School proudly hosted the Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club on 6th August 2025, an event that stood as a testimony to the school’s unwavering commitment to community service and youth leadership. The ceremony was graced by distinguished members of the Rotary Club of Delhi South West, along with Director Sir, Madam Principal, and esteemed Coordinators.

The event commenced with the declaration of the club’s agenda for the year—to uplift the needy and make kindness our character—an inspiring vision that resonated deeply with the gathering. This was followed by a warm and heartfelt welcome address by the teacher in-charge, who introduced this year’s powerful motto: "Unite for Good."

In a beautiful gesture symbolising growth and regeneration, the guests were formally welcomed with saplings. The cultural segment of the ceremony was nothing short of a spectacle — a mesmerizing Shiv Stuti set a divine tone, invoking the strength and serenity of Lord Shiva. This was followed by a spellbinding Qawwali performance, which left the audience captivated, and an energetic tabla performance that filled the hall with joy and applause.

The highlight of the ceremony—the Pinning Ceremony—began with the symbolic passing of the collar to the newly elected President of the Interact Club, followed by the badge pinning to all club members and teacher in-charges, in recognition of their tireless efforts toward the welfare of the underprivileged. The solemn oath-taking ceremony saw the young leaders pledging their sincere commitment to the club’s objectives.

A formal group photograph captured the spirit and pride of the newly appointed team. The outgoing president addressed the gathering, reminiscing over the club’s commendable achievements in the past year. The current president also took the stage to reaffirm his dedication to the club’s cause.

The ceremony was further enriched by the motivating words of Rotarian J.M. Singh and Rotarian Yogesh Kalra, who lauded the students for their enthusiasm and sense of responsibility. Madam Principal, visibly elated, expressed her pride in the confidence and creativity of the new team. She encouraged the members to think beyond boundaries and initiate impactful, out-of-the-box activities to create greater awareness within and outside the school community.

The ceremony concluded on a high note, leaving behind an air of purpose, promise, and the spirit of service. It was indeed a celebration of leadership, compassion, and youthful zeal—a true beginning of yet another impactful chapter in the Interact Club’s journey.
