Investiture Ceremony 2026–27: Nurturing Leaders of Tomorrow

St. Cecilia's Public School proudly organised its Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 on 10th July 2026, celebrating the induction of the newly elected Student Council in an atmosphere marked by dignity, discipline and pride. The ceremony served as a testament to the school's profound commitment to nurturing responsible, compassionate and visionary leaders who embody the values of integrity, service and excellence.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed dignitaries, including Worthy Director Sir, Honourable Madam Principal along with Academic Advisor Sir & ma’am. The occasion was graced by the dedicated Coordinators, distinguished parents, faculty members and students. As a mark of respect and gratitude, the dignitaries were welcomed with saplings, symbolising growth and the nurturing of future generations.

The ceremonial proceedings began on a spiritually uplifting note with a soulful Krishna Stuti, invoking divine blessings for wisdom, courage and righteous leadership. This was followed by a stirring

rendition of the timeless patriotic anthem 'Sare Jahan Se Achha', which filled the audience with a deep sense of national pride. A graceful Yoga presentation by the students further highlighted the significance of physical well-being, discipline and inner harmony as indispensable qualities of effective leadership.

The much-awaited March Past by the newly elected Student Council set the stage for the formal investiture. Amidst great enthusiasm, the dignitaries conferred badges and sashes upon the newly elected office bearers, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, Vice Head Girl, House Captains, Cultural Head, Dramatics Head, Sports Captain, Prefects and the Junior Student Council. The solemn Oath-Taking Ceremony reaffirmed the students' commitment to uphold the ideals, traditions and values of St. Cecilia's Public School with sincerity.

The occasion was further enriched by inspiring addresses delivered by the Director Sir and Madam Principal, who encouraged the newly appointed council members to lead with humility, responsibility and a sense of service towards the institution. The Head Boy and Head Girl also shared their heartfelt thoughts, expressing gratitude for the trust reposed in them and pledging to serve the school community with excellence.

The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Student Council Convenor, expressing gratitude to all whose presence contributed to the success of the event. As everyone proceeded towards sumptuous refreshment, the atmosphere was filled with inspiration as the Council team promised to carry forward the glorious legacy of the institution.
