A Heartfelt Farewell to a Cherished Educator

01 August 2026

With hearts laden with gratitude, affection and a deep sense of nostalgia, the Cecilian fraternity came together to bid a farewell to Ms Kavita Bhatia, a cherished member of the Primary Wing, who devoted almost four decades of her life in the service of the institution. She left an indelible imprint on the institution and on the countless young lives she nurtured with patience, warmth and love.

The farewell ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Revered Director Sir, Honourable Madam Principal and Academic Advisors. The proceedings commenced with a warm welcome extended to the guest of honour, Kavita ma’am, accompanied by bouquets and saplings, followed by a prayer seeking divine blessings for the new chapter that awaited her.

As the ceremony unfolded, the atmosphere gradually became suffused with memories and emotions. Speakers shared heartfelt recollections and touching anecdotes from their association with ma’am, bringing alive the many years of companionship and shared experiences.

In her address, Madam Principal expressed profound appreciation for ma’am’s dedicated contribution to the school and her years of sincere service. Ma’am acknowledged not only her professional commitment but also the warmth and compassion with which she had approached her responsibilities, particularly while working with young children during their formative years.

The occasion became even more poignant as the management and staff members presented tokens of love and respect to Ms Bhatia. These gifts were more than expressions of appreciation; they symbolised the affection, respect and gratitude of a fraternity that had shared innumerable moments of work, celebration, learning and togetherness with her. A special PowerPoint presentation further brought cherished memories to life, taking everyone on an emotional journey through the milestones and moments that had marked her association with the institution.

Ma’am’s journey as an educator is a beautiful reminder that a teacher’s true legacy cannot be measured merely in years of service. It lives in the words a child learns to read and write, in the confidence with which a young mind begins to express itself, and in the memories of a teacher who made school feel a little more like home.

As Ms Kavita Bhatia turns towards a beautiful chapter of life, the entire Cecilian fraternity extends its deepest gratitude for her years of service and its warmest wishes for days filled with peace, good health, happiness and cherished moments with loved ones.
