St. Cecilia’s Public School
Class Presentation of Classes 1B and 1D – Learning with Tales
St. Cecilia’s Public School hosted the class presentation of Classes 1B and 1D on 15 October 2026, revolving around the theme “Learning with Tales”. Drawing inspiration from the beloved fairy tale of Cinderella, the young learners presented an imaginative concept, the Kindness Café, where kindness became the most valuable offering. The presentation beautifully demonstrated how stories can introduce children to essential values and inspire them to bring positivity into the lives of others.
The programme commenced in the presence of the school’s esteemed Director Sir Mr. Saroop Singh, Madam Principal, Inderpreet Bhumra, Academic Advisors, Pre-Primary Headmistress, and coordinators. The dignitaries were felicitated with saplings, reflecting the values of growth, care, and sustainability.
A series of lively enactments and vibrant dance performances unfolded the story of the Kindness Café. From Cinderella’s wish to make everyone happy to the café’s special recipe of love, sharing, and compassion, each scene carried a meaningful message. The children portrayed how helping someone in need, sharing with others, and treating everyone with consideration can transform ordinary moments into acts of kindness. The presentation also featured a collective kindness pledge, through which the young participants encouraged everyone to spread happiness through their words and actions.
Madam Principal addressed the gathering and emphasised the importance of nurturing kindness, empathy, and compassion from an early age. Ma’am highlighted that a strong partnership between parents and the school forms the foundation of a child’s holistic development, helping shape young minds, instil values, and build confidence. Appreciating the young performers, ma’am stated that such presentations help children express themselves, develop confidence, and imbibe meaningful life lessons.
The presentation came to a cheerful close with an energetic grand finale, bringing all the young performers together in a celebration of kindness. Their spirited participation and heartwarming message served as a reminder that compassion begins with small gestures and that every individual can contribute towards making the world a happier place.
