St. Cecilia’s Public School

Picnic to Dreamland Farm & Resort

Senior Wing

St. Cecilia’s Public School organised a fun-filled picnic for the students of the Senior Wing on 16 January 2026 to Dreamland Farm and Resort. The excursion was planned with the objective of providing students a refreshing break from their academic routine and an opportunity to bond with their peers in a joyful environment.

The buses departed from the school campus at 7:30 a.m. amidst great enthusiasm and excitement. Madam Principal motivated the students to enjoy the day in the best spirit. The students thoroughly enjoyed the bus journey with their friends, filling the atmosphere with laughter and cheer. On reaching the resort, the students received a warm and traditional welcome with energetic drum beats, which instantly lifted everyone’s spirits.

Class-wise photographs were clicked to capture the memorable moments of the day. Dedicated guides were assigned to each class, who efficiently managed and took good care of the students throughout the excursion.

A lavish breakfast was arranged, comprising aloo puri, sandwiches, tea, coffee, idli, vada and sambhar, which was relished by everyone. Post breakfast, students enthusiastically participated in a variety of recreational activities such as camel rides, chess, a magic show, puppet show, zip-lining, and many more. These activities proved to be highly engaging and captivating for the students.

The snack counters witnessed a lot of excitement and crowd, offering a tempting spread of dhokla, pizza, jalebi, shikanji and jaljeera. After an eventful morning, a delicious lunch was served, including fried rice, manchurian, vegetables, salads and assorted breads.

One of the highlights of the picnic was the lively DJ session, where students danced their hearts out and created unforgettable memories. The group departed from the resort in the evening and safely reached the school campus by 4:00 p.m.

The picnic was a grand success and proved to be a delightful, refreshing and enriching experience for the students, leaving them with cherished memories to treasure for a long time.

Students were grateful to Madam Principal for organising the recreational picnic that everyone enjoyed.
