Excursion to National Rail Museum: A Journey Through Time
The students of Nursery and Prep recently had the pleasure of visiting the National Rail Museum, a treasure trove of India's rich railway heritage, on 11th February 2026. The objective of this educational trip was to provide our young learners with an enjoyable and enriching outdoor experience, fostering their curiosity and learning.
A team of teachers accompanied the students, ensuring a safe and well-managed experience throughout the visit. The four buses arrived and departed punctually, setting the tone for a seamless and enjoyable day.
Upon arrival, the children were thrilled to explore the museum's vast collection of dummy trains, vintage coaches and railway artifacts. The students enthusiastically participated in various activities, gaining valuable insights into the railway network across the country.
During the picnic, the students happily shared their meals and interacted with peers, demonstrating good manners and cleanliness. The session continued with exploration of the museum's exhibits, reinforcing the learning objectives of the visit.
As a token of appreciation, the students were treated to a biscuit packet and a real juice upon departure. The dispersal process was carried out efficiently, ensuring a smooth conclusion to the event.
The visit to the National Rail Museum proved to be a memorable one for all, providing a meaningful learning experience that was both educational and entertaining. The students and teachers expressed their sincere gratitude to Madam Principal for organizing this memorable day trip, offering a delightful learning opportunity that will be cherished for a lifetime.
