Republic Day Celebrations 2025
“It is aptly said that, Freedom is the correct corner stone of every great Republic and Justice alongwith equality are the lifelines of a Republic.”
The destined Republic Day Celebrations witnessed a ceremonious exhilaration as Cecilian fraternity commemorated the day with pride and reverence in the school campus. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag Respected Madam Principal as the school March Past troupe paraded to honour Madam Principal.
The much awaited Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland. Madam Principal addressed the gathering of students of Classes I to XII along with the staff members. She dedicated the celebration to the undying human spirit to triumph in the face of adversity and touched upon the measures being taken by the nation to help the citizens towards progress and secularity. She stressed that we must be torch bearers of our nation and make India a global leader with our committed endeavours.
The cultural celebrations included myriad of talented performances. Class I presented a mesmerising dance presentation. Cecilian nightingales put forth a melodious song praising secularity and unity in diversity. The Yoga presentation enthralled all with their prowess and precision while the dance troupe presented a visual treat of patriotic dance that triggered in the students and the staff alike, many emotions of pride, love and respect for the country. The coordination in dance, with melodious harmony in songs and portrayal of historical events through compering left an indelible mark on everyone. Finally, the day closed with the gleeful presentations of students that were full of joy and pride. The spirit of teamwork, dedication and enthusiasm was evident which not only reflected their creativity but also an understanding of the significance of the Republic Day.
Pre-Primary Branch celebrated the joyous Republic Day on 23.01.2025. Madam Principal graced the Flag hoisting and blessed the ceremonious event. The tiny tots of Nursery and Prep were adorned in tricoloured attires as they zealously participated to put forth patriotic dance presentations, sang melodiously, recited poems and also performed yoga with expertise. Students exhibited their awareness about contribution of India and Fundamental Rights. The vitality and vigour of the youngest members of Cecilian family made all present proud.
The students were empowered with the vision that a true republic thrives when its people value liberty over power and the strength of a republic lies in the integrity of its citizens.
