A Road Safety Awareness Session was organized in the school for the students of Classes XI and XII with the objective of promoting responsible behaviour and awareness regarding road safety.

The session witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries including the Honourable Madam Principal, Academic Advisor Sir, Coordinators, teachers, and invited traffic police officers. The programme commenced with a formal welcome, followed by the presentation of a sapling as a symbol of gratitude and environmental responsibility.

The session was led by Traffic Officer ASI Praveen Kumar, who

conducted an informative and engaging interaction with the students. He shared valuable insights supported by factual data on road accidents and alert rates observed over the years, helping students understand the seriousness of traffic violations.

Key guidelines and rules were discussed during the session, including:

  • Mandatory use of helmets while riding two-wheelers, especially for children above 4 years of age
  • Importance of using ISI-marked helmets
  • Strict rule against children sitting in the front seat of cars
  • Awareness about government initiatives such as the Rahveer Scheme
  • Serious consequences of rash driving and driving without a valid license

The officer emphasized that road safety is not just about following rules but about making responsible decisions that protect lives.

Students actively participated and showed keen interest, making the session interactive and meaningful.

Honourable  Madam Principal also addressed the students, reinforcing the importance of discipline, safety, and responsible decision-making, especially among young individuals who are soon to become independent road users.

The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the traffic police officers for their valuable time, guidance, and dedication towards spreading awareness.

Everyone expressed thankfulness to Madam Principal for arranging such sessions as they leave students with important life lessons on responsibility and civic awareness.
