Teachers’ Day Celebration

St. Cecilia’s Public School celebrated Teachers’ Day on 4th September with great enthusiasm and joy to acknowledge and reward the teachers for their invaluable contribution to the lives of children. The day unfolded vibrantly as students of Class XII arrived dressed as their assigned teachers, filling the campus with laughter, greetings, and warmth as they wished the teachers a cheerful “Happy Teachers’ Day.”

The special assembly graced by the eminent presence of Respected Madam Principal, Academic Advisor sir and Coordinators, commenced with prayer and news, after which the Head Girl anchored the stage. Together with her peers, she presented a thought-provoking skit highlighting the importance of teachers in shaping lives. The Head Boy and Cultural Head also addressed the gathering, expressing heartfelt gratitude towards the mentors who nurture and guide students selflessly.

Madam Principal, elated at the thunderous applause and energy of the day, extended her best wishes and urged all to respect and value their teachers. Following the formal assembly, the “student-teachers” of Class XII stepped into the shoes of their educators, teaching various classes with fun, creativity, and enthusiasm.

The day was made memorable with Class XII group photographs, captured as tokens of nostalgia for years to come. As the students dispersed, the teachers relished a specially arranged lunch.

On this momentous occasion, the Cecilian fraternity offered saplings to Worthy Chairman Sir, Honourable Madam Manager and Revered Director Sir as tokens of gratitude and respect for their teachings and mentorship. The dignitaries blessed the staff with wishes of wisdom, sincerity and dedication to continue making a difference in the lives of students.

Further, teachers made cherished memories as they were shown a movie, providing them an opportunity to unwind, spend quality time together and enjoy a relaxing time together. The celebration was brought to a warm and spirited conclusion as they warmly thanked Madam Principal for this thoughtful initiative.

The entire day stood as a heartfelt tribute to the guiding lights of the school—our teachers—who continue to inspire, empower, and shape generations.
