Winter Carnival – Joy of Giving
St. Cecilia’s Public School, through its Interact Club, celebrated the annual Winter Carnival – Joy of Giving with great enthusiasm, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing the values of kindness, sharing and social responsibility among students. A generous contribution was collected from teachers and students, and the much-awaited Winter Carnival was successfully organised on 30 December 2025.
The event commenced with a formal inauguration ceremony in the morning. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graciously performed by the Worthy Madam Principal, Academic Advisor Sir and Primary Wing Academic Advisor Ma’am. This was followed by a sacred prayer, a melodious song and a vibrant dance performance by the Cecilians, which set an energetic and joyful tone for the day. Thereafter, Respected Madam Principal formally declared the Winter Carnival open.
Students from the Primary, Middle and Senior Wings were then escorted to the school ground to enjoy a wide variety of food and game stalls managed by the students of classes VIII-XI. The carnival featured popular delicacies such as rajma chawal, idli–vada–sambhar, burgers, fried rice with manchurian, papdi chaat, along with fun attractions like the bouncy and several engaging games. The entire event was conducted in a well-organised manner under proper supervision, ensuring safety, discipline and smooth management throughout the day.
The carnival provided students with a joyful and fulfilling experience, leaving them delighted and satisfied. Most importantly, the profit generated from the event will be donated to various organisations to support the needy and underprivileged, thus giving true meaning to the spirit of giving.
The Winter Carnival not only proved to be a grand success but also effectively instilled the values of compassion, empathy and generosity among students, making it a memorable and meaningful celebration for the entire school community.
