Youth Parliament 2024 in Cecilian Campus
A platform for young individuals to engage in parliamentary style debates, discussions and decision making process
The morning of 28th August 2024 witnessed the Parliamentary discussions and debates on the theme – 10 years of NDA government, as students of class XI and XII participated zealously in the Youth Parliament 2024 under the able guidance of Teacher Incharge Ms. Mamta Gupta. Madam Principal graced the student Mock parliamentary proceedings wherein the students role played as political leaders and representatives analyzing the achievements and shortcomings of the NDA government over the post decade.
The experience of live Youth Parliament in school visioned the importance of youth in Politics of the nation. The students debated as members of Ruling and Opposition parties expressing their opinions on Economic Development and growth, foreign policy and National Security, Social Welfare Schemes and Initiatives, Environmental Policies and sustainability as well as Education and Healthcare reforms. The event mimic the functioning of a real parliament fostering leadership skills, civic awareness and a deeper insight into governance and policy issues.
Madam Principal congratulated the students at the stupendous replica of a fruitful parliamentary session. Students further vowed that they will continue to participate enthusiastically in such events. Indeed! The Youth Parliament 2024 was accolade as a successful event.
